Meet our pastors
Garrett & Sarah Prechtl
Garrett and Sarah grew up in Orange County, California and met at youth group their senior year. They were married in 2004 and together they have three children — Tristan, Kendi, and Uriah.
Garrett and Sarah have been serving the local church along side each other since 1999. They have served as youth pastors, associate pastors, and senior pastors over that time. Garrett and Sarah are passionate about Jesus and the local church. They carry a burden to disciple people and to see people living in the freedom Jesus gave His life for.
Garrett loves running, the outdoors, and is an avid hunter who loves sharing every detail of his wild hunts with Sarah — though she much prefers hearing about them than going on them. Sarah loves the outdoors, decorating, and loves her plants, filling their home with greenery — though Garrett just loves being anywhere Sarah is.

Its all about jesus
At RESTORE
Jesus is lord.
Jesus is king.
Jesus is god.
Jesus is worthy.
Who we are
We are a gospel centered, spirit filled, Bible believing non-denominational church.
Jesus is our Lord at Restore Church {John 13:13}.
The Holy Spirit is our Guide at Restore Church {John 16:13}.
The Bible is our highest doctrinal authority at Restore Church {2 Timothy 3:16-17}.
Vision
We are devoted to seeing every life RESTORED in Jesus through discipleship, fellowship, and prayer
-
At the very beginning of Jesus’ ministry He called people to follow Him. Jesus’ call was a call to discipleship. When Jesus rose from the grave He gave those disciples the mandate to “go make disciples”. It is from Jesus’ way of discipleship that we model discipleship at Restore Church.
Weekend services
Prayer meetings
Message based small groups
Monthly men’s service
Quarterly marriage service
Bible classes
Freedom retreats
Local outreach
Global mission trips
These are some of the ways that we are intentional about making disciples at Restore Church. The reality is that disciples are discipled and disciples disciple. We see discipleship as cyclical. It never stops. Until you stand before Jesus or until Jesus returns, you will never graduate from or out of being discipled or discipling.
Discipleship is our mandate.
-
From the life of Jesus we discover what fellowship looks like and means. Jesus ate meals with people He knew and with people He didn’t know. He walked with people He knew and didn’t know. It is from Jesus’ way of fellowship that we model fellowship at Restore Church.
Although all of our scheduled meetings have components of fellowship to them and in them, none of them are the means to the end of fellowship. Biblical fellowship demands that we do actual life together.
We eat together
We serve one another
We share with one another
We get together to have fun
Fellowship is something we see in creation with the Trinity. Fellowship is something we see in the Garden with God walking with Adam and Eve. Fellowship is something we see in the development and construction of the tabernacle. Fellowship is something we see Jesus demonstrating with His life. Fellowship is something we see fully functioning with the early church.
Fellowship is our privilege.
-
Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray by himself. Jesus regularly prayed with others. Jesus participated in annual Jewish festivals that involved prayer. Jesus taught His disciples how to pray. It is from Jesus’ way of prayer that we model prayer at Restore Church.
We daily withdraw from the details of our day to be alone with God and to pray. Personal prayer is powerful.
We gather and pray together weekly, on Sundays during service and at our midweek prayer meeting. Corporate prayer is powerful.
We have annual prayer initiatives with intentional focus’. Scheduled prayer is powerful.
We teach people how to pray. Prayer discipleship is powerful.
In all of these, we pray with faith, fervor, and expectation. We lay hands on one another. We anoint the sick with oil. We stand in the gap for others.
Prayer is our priority.
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and the prayers”
what we Believe
The beliefs of Restore Church are firmly rooted and grounded in and from Scripture. These beliefs guide our decisions as a church.
-
We worship one God in Trinity and the Trinity in unity, neither blending their persons, nor dividing their essence. For the person of the Father is a distinct person, the person of the Son is another, and that of the Holy Spirit, still another. But the divinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is one, their glory equal, their majesty coeternal.”
— Athanasian Creed
God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — has eternally existed, stands outside of time, created and fashioned the universe, and loves mankind.
-
The Father is God!
The Old Testament patriarchs identified God as their Father.
Jesus came to reveal Father.
We believe He is sovereign. He is great. He is powerful. He is all knowing. He is ever present. He is unchanging. He is utterly Holy. In Him we live, move and exist. He is good and in Him is no evil. HE IS OUR FATHER. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.
-
The Son is God!
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He is seated at the right hand of the Father and someday, unbeknownst to all, He will return as He has promised.
Jesus is completely God, as well as completely human. He is the only way to be restored to God. He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a perfect sinless life, performed innumerable miracles, was betrayed by Judas, suffered at the hands of Pontius Pilate, was crucified on a cross, and was buried in a borrowed tomb. After three days He rose from the grave, defeating death. He was witnessed by hundreds within a 40 day period. In and through Jesus’ resurrection, we have life; eternal life.
-
The Holy Spirit is God!
We believe the Holy Spirit, as promised by Jesus, is our helper. His presence marks us and assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth, exalts Christ, convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. We believe that in order to live the holy & fruitful lives as God desires, we need to be baptized is water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit invades our natural, causing the supernatural to become. He gives us spiritual gifts and He empowers us to use those gifts. We believe that the Holy Spirit is invigorating and without His presence, we have nothing.
-
We believe that the local church (lowercase ‘c’) is a community of regenerated believers who confess Jesus Christ as Lord, and that the universal church (uppercase ‘C’) is comprised of all God’s people in all times and places. In obedience to Scripture, Christians organize under qualified leadership, gather regularly for preaching and worship, observe the sacraments of baptism and Communion, are unified by the Spirit in love, are corrected for holiness, and go out to fulfill the great commandment and the great commission as missionaries to the world, both locally and globally. Because we are members of God’s universal church (uppercase ‘C’), we partner with other Christian local churches and ministries for Kingdom ministry and are devoted to building up our local church family until Jesus returns for His bride — the CHURCH.
-
We believe that the Bible is the absolute infallible, inerrant word of God. It is spot on, accurate, authoritative, and dependable in every area and moment in our lives. The Bible is God’s Word to all people and is the only source for true doctrine, instruction, correction, and reproof. It teaches God’s heart and ways, and trains us in godliness, righteousness, and holiness. It was written by human authors under the supernatural leadership of the Holy Spirit.
-
We believe that man is made in the image of God and is the greatest object of His creation. Man was created to walk in fellowship with God but became separated in that fellowship through sinful disobedience. That choice has caused everyone to be born into sin, which has separated us from God and His perfect plan for each person’s life. But God in all of His awesome love and grace sent ONE – the redeemer of all – Jesus Christ. As fully God and fully man, Jesus Christ has come to save all. He lived a perfect sinless life. He died on a cross in our place. He was buried in a borrowed tomb. He rose from that tomb after three days, conquering the power of sin and death forever. In and through Christ alone, we receive forgiveness of sins – enabling us to become one with Him in new birth.
-
We believe that repentance is the act of turning away from sin by turning to God. It’s the commitment to turn away from sin (which only God gets to define) in every area of our lives and to follow Jesus, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Thus, through repentance we receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation.
-
We believe that our eternal destination – of either Heaven or Hell – is predicated and determined by our personal response to the Lord Jesus Christ. Man was created to exist forever and he will exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness & salvation through Christ. To be eternally separated from God is Hell, which is destruction, but to be eternally in union with God is Heaven, which is restoration, as Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.
What to expect
Sunday mornings we come with expectation, worship with reverence, pray with fervor, receive Communion with remembrance, and hear the Word of God with faith.
-
Service will be approximately 90 minutes long and will include corporate worship, corporate prayer, corporate Communion, and a Bible teaching — followed by ministry time.
-
Like most families, our church family has people who are formal and people who are informal. So whether you are wearing a suit or dress, jeans or joggers, Nike’s or flip flops — you will find people dressed just like you.
-
Restore Kids meets during each service for newborns to 5th grade. Restore Kids learn about Jesus in interactive, fun and age-appropriate ways using Bible-based curriculums. These curriculums are designed to teach your kids the Bible and disciple your kids in the way of God. They will worship, pray, hear a Bible teaching, and receive ministry.
